Willie
is a very
popular character and Jack uses a unique way of presenting him!Willie holds himself upright with his own right arm around Jack's shoulder whilst Jack's left arm and hand protrudes through Willies left sleeve - which makes him very lifelike indeed.
That hand often holds a liquor
bottle and Willie tends to wave it around to make a drunken point. Willie is the drunk we all know--
"I'M STILL SHHHHELEBRATING THE ROYAL WEDDING..." He leers;
"QUEEN VICTORIA'S!"
Let's face it, Willie likes a few drinks and tends to slur his words, but
he can still handle hecklers with aplomb - often to the point where they
argue directly with him and forget that Jack even exists!
In fact he's so
lifelike that more than one TV floor manager has asked for Willy's
microphone to be better placed and for Willie not move his head around too
much otherwise the microphone won't pick up his voice!
Willie Drinkall is an hilarious lifelike character, and is often very
topical!
